Extrusion

Extrusion is the similiest of the techinques employed by RT/Dygert.  Essentially, rubber is forced through a die at elevated temperatures to produced lengths of various shapes.  This is the manufacturering method used to produce the cord stock that is found in our custom O-ring kits.  The die can also be modified to produce more complex shapes such as hollow tubing, wiper designs, and U-cups.
